My wife and I wanted to sell our first house and move in to a bigger home in order to expand our family. We wanted to sell our home via For Sale by Owner and attempted for several months. We put our home on the market in early April during the best time of year for home sales. We had open houses every weekend and had interest from a couple parties, but no offers. We knew our house was priced correctly but just wasn't selling. Well the inevitable happened and we found the house we have been looking for since October of the previous year and knew we had to act quickly.
